Kailasanathar Temple

                           This temple was built by the Pallava king Narashimhavarman -2 (700-728 CE). The whole temple complex is built out of sandstone. But for the load-bearing course of Adhisthana, I.e. Patrika, which is of granite. On plan, the temple consist of the garbhagriha aradhamandapa, and a shine built by Mahedravarman, all facing east side.   The sanctum has thesomaskanda panel in addition to the polished Dhara kinda which is a characteristics feature of all  pallava temples. The prakara wall has 58 small shrines attached to the inner surface of the wall.  Small shine There is on their series of seven attached to the outer surface of the prakara wall.

Nagarthara's community built a tank and
Provided the sluice at Elajeeyarahahalli .

The inscription indicates that about 616  years
Ago the administrators and the rich people like wellness of the society.

Elajeeyarahahalli is the same Yelachenahalli of the present day.
